About the 1x1 picture size
A “1x1 picture” is a square photo exactly 1 inch by 1 inch (2.54 × 2.54 cm). It is the most common ID photo size in the Philippines — job application forms, school and company IDs, NBI clearance, PRC and many other government forms ask for it. In pixels the size depends on print resolution: 300 × 300 px at 300 DPI or 600 × 600 px at 600 DPI both print at exactly one inch; anything saved at 96 DPI will come out more than three inches wide, which is why photos resized in ordinary editors often print at the wrong size.
